The faucets in my bathroon have turned into a bunch if hissing snakes!

Why can't I delete posts this morning?

ANYHOW... It's been cold here, but certainly an improvement over the below zero temps we'd experienced a few weeks back. During the cold snap, I left all the faucets trickling with nary a problem. However, as a Westerner well aware of the drought inflicted water shortage out here, I shut off the dripping faucets once it bgan to warm up. Well, this morning I went to brush my teeth, and the cold water faucet began to hiss loudly in protest when I turned it on, but water did come out of it.

I tried the water faucets in the bath tub with no problems. The cold water tap contunes to hiss menacingly no matter what I try. I hate to call my landlord on New Year's when he's probably sitting around with a cold one watching his fav football team. Is there any sort of (simple) fix that I could do myself? Also, do broken water pipes hiss like a pit full of vipers?

Hair driers (or reverse the vaccum hose so it blows the warm air) are great for not setting fires, etc.

But when you say "pathroom" you may need an extension cord to make them work properly.
... and carry a forked stick as the vipers may be real

Has Joni Mitchell been visiting?

Hiya Sam!

No plumbing help, only happy new year wishes to you. :-)

Hi Sam!

Let them run a bit, and they may fix themselves. You know, a trickle. You don't want to overflow the tub or basin, so don't open them wide open and then walk away.

Did you find the snake?

Gravdigr 01-04-2014 02:30 PM

I'm glad my house doesn't have a pathroon.

sexobon 01-04-2014 03:17 PM

It's where you would keep your pet mongoose if you had one; so, no one else would know.

Gravdigr 01-10-2014 04:31 PM

I'll show ya mongoose, if you show me your goose.

Meet me in the pathroon.

Gravdigr 01-10-2014 04:34 PM

So, where do ya keep the bubblegoose then?

I want a pathroon of my own.

sexobon 01-11-2014 04:08 PM

I wonder if the snakes ate Sam; or, vice versa?

Molasar 01-11-2014 05:06 PM

must be a bloody huge room if it's got a path in it, the biggest room we got only has a bit of carpet
