Lovely!

I’ve never recorded myself playing before. It’s harder than playing in public. I had to pretend I’d invited y’alls to my house for a jam .... (I wish I could! It’d be teh awesome!).

Thanks Limey, that was lovely.

Thanks Fargon and everyone! I might put some other stuff up with my other noisemakers. I've got five that I play on a semi-regular basis ... three squeezers and two tooters. There might be a pome in there somewheres ....
In fact, rather than my hogging the limeylight (see what I did there?) in this thread, why not make it a Cellar Jam. Everyone and anyone can post their musical and other performance arts presentations. Please! I wonder if I can change the title of this thread ...

Ceilidh - "A cèilidh or céilí is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering. In its most basic form, it simply means a social visit. In contemporary usage, it usually involves dancing and playing music, either at a house party or a larger concert at a social hall or other community gathering place."

I was told when I was in PEI a few years ago - they called them Kitchen Parties - because folks would hang out in the kitchen and play music, drink, laugh, and just be together.

I remember doing those with my family when I was a kid - I always got to play the spoons :)

Have you ever seen those YouTube mashups where the same person plays all the parts of a song, showing themselves in 6 different panels or whatever with different instruments? I want to see limey add harmonies!

Griff 10-31-2018 07:59 AM

That's exactly what I want to see!

limey 10-31-2018 10:39 AM
