I was having a bit of a kip. And then Spencer sanded through the power cord for the sander so I got involved in fixing that.

I did that with a router once. Set it down on its side after doing a cut and the bit was still spinning when it brushed against the cord. Annoying.

I love the idea of the virtual forks, but it just hasn't happened yet for me. There always seems to be something going on.

However, I managed to cut through the cable of my electric hedge trimmer not once, but twice, in successive years.

RCD gizmo prevented 240v up the Carruthers arm. Twice.

After that I invested in a Kawasaki two stroke trimmer. Probably one of the best buys I've ever made.
