I love White Castle. I ate there when I lived in Scranton.

I love Krystal and Waffle House. I ate there when I lived in Atlanta.

Number of White Castles in DC: Zero
Number of Krystals in DC: Zero
Number of Waffle Houses in DC: Zero.

There is nowhere to eat in DC. No Where.

beestie, jump on AmTrak and scurry up to NYC Penn Station - there's a 24-hour White Castle a stone's throw from the train station. yes, that would be a damn expensive slider, but in times of need...

aren't there WaHos in Maryland? I swear I've seen them along 95 on my way to ATL ..

There is one in Bourbonais IL., about 70 miles north of Champain.

My entire wardrobe is Walmart. Apart from my cardi which is thrift shop. :D Oh, and I went upmarket to Payless for my sneakers. I so rock.

About your White Castle fix, I Don't know how far you are from Davenport Iowa, but I heard they opened one up there not too long ago.

White Castle is now the only fast food that I enjoy eating...the closest one is about 8 blocks away. :)

I remember when I first went to Philadelphia (September 1999), I was overjoyed that they had a few WC's in town...I lived in DC and we had none. When I moved up there the following year, there was only one left in the area--Palmyra, NJ. Then that one closed, and the next closest one was in New Brunswick, NJ...about 40 miles away.

I had Krystal a couple of times...the closest one to me used to be in Carbondale, IL (60 miles from Cape Girardeau, MO, where I lived at the time). Not bad, but a total WC rip-off, IMO.

I shop at Wal-Mart too...I don't like 'em, but their shit is cheap and they have my size in clothing.

White Castle is primarily a guy thing. I mean, really. They're kind of gross. And you pay an extra ten cents or something for a postage stamp sized piece of cheese.
