Cat got your tongue?

Just for grins, let's say you've lost your voice. But you're lucky. The voice gods have decided to let you choose another......another from cinema, television, radio.....another from theatre, opera, rock and roll......another from news broadcasts, talk show hosts, disc jockeys...any recorded voice which unfortunately eliminates Thomas Jefferson, Aristotle, et alia.

Whose would you choose?

Freddie Mercury. Such a beautiful voice, from such an ugly man.

Or maybe Hugh Grant. I love his voice. I also love Ewan McGregor and Jude Law, but... mneh.

Vin Diesel has a marvelous voice. Would probably look pretty funny coming out of me, though. Uh . . . Kathleen Turner?

xoxoxoBruce 05-06-2007 11:20 AM

Paul Robeson.

Cloud 05-06-2007 11:35 AM

whoa. That's pretty ambitious of you, Bruce!

Marilyn Monroe

Clint Eastwood.

John Wayne.

I like my voice. I don't think I'd like to change it even if I could.

I was just thinking about Freddie Mercury the other day because of the kindness, giving, charity thread. That is my dream, to have such a beautiful voice, that sharing it with others, gives something to them, improves the quality of their life.

If I can't have that give me the voice of Sean Connery. Chicks would really dig that.

Elspode 05-06-2007 11:03 PM

Since Sean Connery has already been taken, I'm going to take Richard Burton's.

You could have Johnny Cash.
