Jolly old England (BBC)

As has been suggested by jinx, I think us brits should have a forum about BBC TV shows.

So, I'll leave it to the public vote.

Congratulations, jinx. Hook, line and sinker.

I don't think anyone would mind if such threads were just posted in the Entertainment forum.

Perfectly logical. If there is interest it will continue. If not it will die. :)

UT, can the 13 year old be put on poll restriction?

Trillian-zz9 01-29-2004 03:55 AM

Hey I can make as many polls as I like.

FileNotFound 01-29-2004 08:40 AM

No.

I don't watch TV.

You sure can. Not sure I would recommend it though.

Bah come on, this 13 year old isn't nearly as bad as may 31 year olds I've seen.
Let her be, she'll either get bored or grow up in a week or two.

Thankyou FileNotFound, I'll take that as a compliment.

Take it as whatever you like, but I don't really believe that you're 13. I think you're bsing but whatever...I'd guess 16ish at least.

Or maybe they teach English in UK schools...

perth 01-29-2004 02:41 PM

British schools are vastly superior to the U.S. I was lucky enough to spend 4th and 5th grade in England. Some of my classes: Math, algebra (concurrently), physics, biology, chemistry, earth sciences, French, Latin, English, and grammar. Admittedly, this was a private school, but I've never seen those sort of classes offered to children that young in private schools here, and the kids who attend public schools in England are no dummies either. I imagine the class schedules were similar.

FileNotFound 01-29-2004 02:58 PM

It'd be really sad if 13 year old UK kids displayed a level of maturity that American 19 year olds are only beginning to grasp during their first year of college.

kerosene 01-29-2004 03:49 PM

I would not be surprised.
