Bodacious tats

Walking around downtown on a Sunday afternoon, you meet many interesting people.

Here is 'Just got out of prison' guy:

That chicks got some nice tats ;)

So, how do you manage to get pics of people like that? Did you walk past them, comment on their tattoos, then ask em if you could take a pic or something? I'd like to take more pictures of people, but never want to ask (and my stealthy shots don't turn out worth a damn). Maybe it's because I hate my picture being taken, and assume others do to, I dunno. Anyone have any tips/tricks on taking pics of strangers they care to share? Does having a big fancy camera help more than a cheapo point & shoot? Sorry, not trying to derail the thread, just curious is all.

i find the best way to get people to pose for photos is to hit them over the head with a brick until they are unconscious. then you can pose them any way you want and take as many shots as you need without having to listen to them bitch and moan about ahving to get going. as an added benefit, if they don't lose consciousness right away and you have to pummel them repeatedly, that counts as your daily work out so you don't have to go to the gym. unless you want to take photos of the knuckle dragging mouthbreathers getting aroused by watching themselves lift in front of the testosterone stained mirrors. you have to sneak up on them though, if you don't get 'em with the first swing of the brick, it could really be a painful experience for you.

anyway - i hope that helps.

I don't regret mine, it's become a conversation topic...

although being a 90 year old woman with Elmo about 12 inches further south than when he started may be summat amusing :)

My concern is more with the piercings.....
