Danish Crown Prince Frederik and his fiancee Mary Donaldson look at the Ron Mueck sculpture 'Boy' at The Aros Art Museum. The Aros Art Museum, situated 200 kilometers (125 miles) northwest of the capital, Copenhagen, was opened Wednesday by Danish Queen Margrethe.

OMG that's a sculpture???? Incredible!

Oops sorry. I don't have much more to say than that. :p

Come on...he looks real to me. Are you sure it's fake? There are live sculptures too.

Nothing But Net 06-27-2004 01:12 AM

I heard Michael Jackson has ordered a couple of dozen of these.

Yeah, it's really a sculpture. Perhaps this picture will aid with your sense of scale.

irma 06-27-2004 06:27 AM

This is interesting. The sculpture is quite big, too.

If your child does not look like this then you have failed as a parent.

I forget where I saw this but I bet that was the model. ;)

Hey, don't they know that the Geneva Convention does not allow prisoners to be kept in prolonged stressful positions!

ttb 06-27-2004 11:56 AM

I remember seeing that, or very similar in the Millennium Dome.
Yes, I was the one that went there :P

To the contrary, that's what they should look like when you come home. Well, maybe some welts too.:haha:

what kind of point is it trying to prove? I mean, most obscure art has a point to prove.

CloudMD 06-28-2004 03:03 AM

just for fun I tried to assume this position. I fell over backward like a June bug trying to traverse a sliding glass door...

jdbutler 06-28-2004 07:38 AM

I vote no sculpture...The eye positions between the two pics are totally different.
(And he should have named it "Tantric Constipation")

Happy Monkey 06-28-2004 09:02 AM

It's a real sculpture.

Cyber Wolf 06-28-2004 11:57 AM

This sculpture exists so the artist can prove he can make you do a double-take even though you KNOW it's not a real boy to start with.
