Green capelin roe is my best guess. Adhered to some seaweed, my fingers shown here for scale (not for hygiene :blush: ). This was at a very low tide on the Hood Canal near Quilecene. I moved them slightly, they're a single mass, and then I folded the seaweed back over them and resumed my hunt for dinner.

Could be - it was covered in spray paint and bullet holes, so I didn't bother to do an ID...it was just fun to find it sitting in the woods rotting

I used to feel inadequate about my photos. Now I work with real artists every day and I get it. That's what you guys are, you're just not making a living out of it by choice.

Beautiful photos. Really amazing - I would choose many of these for greetings cards and postcards. Please don't think I'm demeaning you this way - I have to really love something to send it.
