How the heck do you remove an EZPass thing from your windshield?
 

The subject says it all. I thought this would be a) straightforward and b) easily google-able.

actually, isn't it velcroed? I thought they had 2 layers of it on them, so you could move it? if not, just get one of those suction cup holder things $6 in my parts dept if you want me to send you one.

mine is a very strong velcro which is adhered to the windshield with doublefaced tape.

hot hair dryer will soften the adhesive, then peel it off with a scraper or razor blade.

I recommend LJ's idea of a suction cup mount, that's what I use in my truck.

No, it's a rubbery-looking translucent thick adhesivy gunk--no velcro. Hmmm we'll see about the hair dryer.

yeah....razor blade and then lighter fluid to get the excess...or googone or goof off.

Mine too, and its right in the way of the auto-headlight sensor. Which sucked anyway.

How about Goo Gone?

Acetone (nail polish remover).

Oooh, be careful with the acetone, if you don't want to ruin your dash...

Goo Gone and hairdryer, that is how I removed those ugly stickers on my motorcycle gas tank. Put on GG and let it soak in. Heat with hairdryer, use one edge razor blade if on glass and repeat till it is all gone.
