Bizarre Spam Subject Lines

Over the course of the last year, new efforts on the part of evil scum sucking spammers to circumvent spam filters have resulted in subject line and initial message body content that can be rather amusing. Apparently, there is some sort of random word generation going on in the programs that create these monstrosities.

In particular, the subject lines have gotten increasingly humorous. Here's some I've gotten. Share some of yours, too. We can't stop spam, so we might as well get a laugh out of it.

"Tawdry Overhead Projector"
"Refinnance Your Loan, Yellow Dog"
"FW: Englisch"
"unemployment twinge"
"night school clemency"
"morom"

Spam subject lines directly copied out of my Procmail log:

Subject: RE[5]: Some kind of a comedian, are we?
Subject: Your cash, nose-belled
Subject: Advance in LIFE with a college d1ploma Bishop
Subject: hassle felon
Subject: goodbut word. England
Subject: This is most modern and safe way not to cover with shame
Subject: CHRISTOPHER profiled RONALD in COREY
Subject: of her tree HERMAN examined her news
Subject: Fwd: Inhale ultimate happiness

I might have to look into that last one.:bong:

Some of the sender names are pretty good too, ranging from the innocuous "Sharon Flowers" to the mysterious "Snotting B. China".

Would you trust weight loss advice from "Insect E. Roqueforte?"

Since I started using Spampal, I only get a couple a week. :D

I'm using the spamcatcher that's native to Thunderbird, which seems to work quite nicely. I actually had to go into my junk box to find any.

I use PopFile, which does pretty much the same thing. I wouldn't see my spam until I delete it except for the fact that I have to use a damn webmail interface to read my mail at work, and it doesn't have a spam filter.

I also have to regularly go douche my domain mail spam folders, in which SpamAsassin catches the bulk of things that come to me, so I still see lots of subject/sender lines in the process of teaching it what *not* to eat.

I don't get spam at work, but will check my junkmail on hotmail on occasion to find such treats as:

LetsGetTogetherForSomeGoodSexx
IncreasingYourErectionStrength
and the intriguing - GetMassiveErections, HugeQuantitesOfSemen
(although whether that is aimed at men or women I'm not sure...?)

Got this one yesterday:

Manually Tangy

Hmmmmmmmm

It might replace my current tag line
