Rick Motherfuckin' Astley does the song live at Isle of Wight festival two weeks ago. I hadn't seen him doing it since the original video... which we've all seen the first four lines of, a thousand times...

... which is why, when he does it now, and sings it like a guy having lived 35 more years of life, it breathes something new into it. To my surprise, I wound up watching the whole thing. And grinning!

Twil and I saw Chaka Khan and Michael McDonald and Tommy Alexander at the Oregon Zoo last weekend. Chaka Khan did not perform this song sadly.
