Weekend in Krakow

I had a long weekend here just recently. It was -7C so a little chilly. It's a beautiful city, with the largest medieval square in Europe. They still had their Christmas lights up, which they don't take down until the end of January. We saw a classical concert in the Church of St Peter's and St Paul's, which was stunning inside and out.Attachment 62962Attachment 62963Attachment 62964Attachment 62965

I like those Christmas lights.

And that painted building (the sideways one) reminds me a lot of a building in Prague.

Yes we did (apologies for my tardy reply). We flew Easyjet, a budget airline over here. On the way back the cabin crew seemed to be pretty relaxed and in a party mood. One of the staff announced that they were going to bring a trolley of 'stuff' in case we wanted to buy any 'stuff' before we landed. He then wheeled the trolley down the aisle and kept saying 'anyone want to buy some stuff? Stuff for sale!' He seemed to have lost interest in playing the corporate role. I thought either it was his last day at work, or he'd become a little jaded.

Maybe the cabin crew had slipped in stuff they could sell and pocket the cash.

glatt, while in rural France I found that the Christmas lights all looked they were home made, very amateurish but quaint, I liked them

Did you see what was available? Maybe it was just Poly-fil.
