The poppies are gorgeous, they're the California State Flower. Interestingly, they're the same color as the California State Fish, the garabaldi.

I misread the title. Thought it said puppies. I am disappoint.

Poppies are found in the high deserts of Afghanistan. Pretty because it provides heroin - and cash for the Taliban.
