Well hell.... I was right by there yesterday

And the Bethany Tpk was a real fun road. That whole last leg below Binghamton was v fun.

You were headed right for us until you took a wrong turn in Bingo!

RT12 can be cop infested. Utica to Binghamton is nice review of shuttered factory towns but they have AHL hockey and Clinton (Hamilton College) was Hockeytown USA a few years back. I guess you did a low level hockey tour of NYS.

Guess you've seen this a time or two. I plunked my ass down on the hill in front of the spiral stone area and had a nice rest. Now I'm at a roadside bar listening to two old guys play Neil Young and the dead. Not so bad. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d37a46fcee.jpg

I am almost done with the back steps. Yesterday I burned the grain of the new wood with a torch to make it look like the old wood. Smelled great.

Since then I've had a pleasant camp fire smell in my nose. My nose gets smells stuck, to where every smell that registers will smell like it. But I'm wondering if it's that, or if I can just smell California burning.

Anyway, smells nice.

Must be horrendous for you when someone farts

We're getting married. You knew that, but it's 29 days away now.

We were not sure if we would wait a year and do a mid sized affair, or do a back yard wedding this year, but we decided to go ahead this year. My mom is slipping mentally, and her dad is fighting cancer (winning so far) and there are tax and health insurance benefits....

Anyway. We hired the tents, wedding planner and caterer this week. It's gonna be small... Like 25 family and close friends. I bought a new suit, Amanda bought a dress, ordered my ring and we hired a house cleaner, too. Lots of money flowing out, but this is how it goes.

I need to lose 10 pounds. I will.

And we have no idea about what to do for a honeymoon.

I’m happy for you kids. Congratulations.
