My projection for Super Bowl XXXIX

Patriots 41,Eagles 7.

Anybody care to comment?

Griff 01-07-2005 06:46 PM

Steelers 31, Seahawks 21

Law is out, as if that matters. :flamer:

elSicomoro 01-07-2005 07:39 PM

Griff, put that damned bottle down. You know damned good and well that Seattle is going to get beat tomorrow, so let's cut the crap here. :)

elSicomoro 01-07-2005 07:39 PM

Oh...a prediction for SB39: Eagles by less than a touchdown over Pittsburgh.

do the eagles stand a chance in the big game IF they finally make it?

lumberjim 01-07-2005 08:06 PM

Colts over the birds, 31-13.

this week:
seahawks over the rams
chargers over the jets
pack over vikes
colts over the broncos

next week:
eagles over the seahawks
falcons over the packers
pats over the chargers
colts beat the steelers

championships:
colts o'er the Patriots in a squeaker
Eagles trounce the Falcons

Who? LJ??? A freakin' Dallas Assboys fan???

Dear God. I had no idea.

elSicomoro 01-07-2005 09:53 PM

I'm afraid so...it's tragic...and funny.

Or at least, it is right now.

Oh... I forgot about that thread but you can see what I had to say about it then.

I think we need an intervention with LJ.

We can invite Marichiko and Atropos and you (Syc) and Wolf (she needs to bring the hypo if things get outta hand), UT, Griff and fileNotFound for some extra muscle if he tries to get up off the couch before we're good 'n through with his sorry Dallas-lovin' ass. :)

It's funny...there are actually quite a few Dallas fans here, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of animosity towards them. Of course, I've never been to the Vet or the Linc to see things up close and personal...

Well its not like they win often enough to really piss anybody off

There is a special peace one gets knowing that you can sit out the playoffs and not really be invested in it.

I suppose, however, that I will end up going along with the fellows at work and cheering the Iggles to some degree. I believe that I have my Eagles car window flag from last year still in the trunk, and may attach it to my vehicle so as to blend in these next few weeks.

Love,

'Wolf (Bears Fan, resigned to no post season for quite a few year. Why oh why do the Bears have "demolishing" years, rather than "rebuilding?)

P.S. Bruce sent me this. It's appropriate here.

It's UGLY.

Giants are treated badly as well, but wasn't it Dallas that caused the change to the snow clearance rules in the Vet?
