I thought it was a genuine combat mission going on.
I mean, it looks just like Afghanistan.:eyebrow: Hey, I spelled Afghanistan right the first time! |

Unless it's made of a nonexistium/unobtainium alloy, that thing weighs more than 6.6 pounds.
I thought we had trouble getting a laser weapon small enough to put on a 747, or a fucking ship. China's packing them around. For $15k? Sounds like 7 pounds of bullshit. |
The ones we were putting on a plane had more than a half mile range, they were looking to intercept missiles.

I don't know, I still get a bullshit vibe off the thing.
How does China’s claimed handheld laser rifle compare to the US and to reality? Tripped across that article this morning. |
Inventor seeking funding is likely to produce hyperbole. How much is the question. I can see a half mile vs 22 miles, and hand aimed at a stationary target vs tracking a moving target, would cut the size/weight considerably.
But time will tell. Mandating non-lead shot cut water pollution, and this would do even more, but that raises the question will a dog bring back a cooked bird? |

I was wondering about that. Would that boot fit on a semi?
If not, I suspect it's a photoshop or an art installation. Or maybe Mr. Tank #666 actually pissed of the local cops enough for them to special-order a supersized boot. |
666...Maybe that one belongs to the Devil's Brigade?
