Guy I know went to the local horse track a few nights ago, and won $4000 on the instant racing machines (kinda like a slot machine, you pick & bet on your horse in a previously run prerecorded race, idk how that works).

They have a 'penny machine' where the payoff builds up over time-with-no-winner. minimum bet is $.01, and the max is $20.

The payoff last time I saw it was up to $436,000.

Make the right single $20 bet, walk away $436,000 richer.
