Guy eats possible IotD

I had heard there was a 7-legged, hermaphroditic deer in the news.

Before I could find it for a possible IotD, it was et and proclaimed "tasty".

An Exlusive quote from the forthcoming Disney cross-over film

'Bambi meets Snow White & the Seven Dwarves'

ok, who wants a leg?

Seven hungry dwarfs.

He hit this malformed, possibly malignant, definitely screwed up, freak of nature and thought it would be safe to eat?

Hey! That's *our* job, damn it!

Spode, I noticed that you saw the potential IotD and hit me with a PM... we were thinking along the same lines!

Elspode 12-15-2006 10:25 AM

Yeah, that one was a no-brainer. Anything deformed, killed and eaten should be recognized on IOTD.

I am slightly disappointed that we didn't get a chance to make serving suggestions, though.

Rick Lisko hunts deer with a bow but got his most unusual one driving his truck down his mile-long driveway. The young buck had nub antlers — and seven legs. Lisko said it also had both male and female reproductive organs. "It was definitely a freak of nature," Lisko said. "I guess it's a real rarity.”

Naw..ya think?

Elspode 12-15-2006 10:28 AM

...and a good deal more scarce since Rick nailed one.

Shawnee123 12-15-2006 10:35 AM

Raise your hand if you think Rick is a knob.

DanaC 12-15-2006 11:48 AM

*raises both hands*

I think I double posted this... oops.
CNN mailed it to me.

Did they include a recipe?

For the record I don't think Lisko is a knob.
The animal was killed in an accident, he did take a picture of it for the authorities and at least it didn't go to waste.

:yum:

Or medium rarity, or even well-done-ity.
