for Memorial day I thought I would post some pics from a book that my Mom and Dad had , they were both artist , they tryed to explain the abstracts to me but the cartoons made more sence ,
the artist is Willam Steig , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Steig

Oh, what was the name of the book your folks had?

The name of the book is The Steig Album , copy wright 1939-53 ,
He evedently did illustrations for the NewYorker , and Many Childrens books.

They make me feel like I'm watching the kids play, from a window or something. Maybe if I was younger I'd feel a part of it. :smack:
