I'm thinking of starting an all-time cool nicknames band, and so far I've decided the core of the group will be Donald "Duck" Dunn and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. I need help filling out the line-up.

Duck Dunn! Pwnage.

Uh... John 'Thunderfingers' Entwistle? Joe 'Satch' Satriani? Louis 'Sachmo' Armstrong? John 'Bonzo' Bonham?

ding! ding! ding! Bonzo!!! Now that's a nickname!

Waddy Wachtel. Colonel Steve Cropper. Keith "Emo" Emerson. Robert John "Mutt" Lange.

Eric "Slowhand" Clapton?

Fronting the band would of course be David 'old blue eyes/brown eyes (delete as appropiate) ' Bowie

Mister David Jones, eh? I dunno if changing your name makes it a nickname... if so, toss Bob Zimmerman on there, too.

I used to know a drummer named Squid

Another guitarist: T-Bone Walker. They get all the cool names. Like, "Slash."
