How long can you be idle without getting the boot?

I get involved with other things/places/people online while posting here and I'm FOREVER having to log back in!!!! What a pain in the ass!
:sheep:

It seems it is set for like 3 minutes......but probably it's more.

Can you extend that to like an hour please bossman UT?????????

:sniff: :( :mecry: :help: :bitching: :banghead: :apistola: :comp1: :thankyou:

Ibby 08-17-2006 09:20 PM

I just set it for always logged in, and never have that problem...

MsSparkie 08-17-2006 09:27 PM

I don't want to do that.

Ibby 08-17-2006 09:34 PM

Why?

MsSparkie 08-17-2006 09:56 PM

My computer is accessible to others.

The problem is not the cellar, it's sputters in the server that you're connected to. I have that happen at work ... the signal drops out and I get logged off, sometimes (annoyingly) in the middle of trying to post.

MsSparkie 08-17-2006 10:20 PM

That's a bitch.

Yeah, but we try to put up with her, being that she's a moderator and all.

It was the will of the people.

Undertoad 08-18-2006 08:52 AM

It's 15 minutes, and it's not changing...

limey 08-18-2006 03:03 PM

And there I was thinking this was a thread about how long you could get away with doing nothing at all at work ... :yelgreedy

Good reason for the login to not be persistant. Also a good reason to secure your browser history and cache. Maybe you should consider Portable Firefox.
