Original recordings of Apollo moon missions are missing

Perhaps this has proof that it was faked that would show-up with new tech... nanana, naaaaa....

Heck, that's nothin'. They've lost *two* entire space shuttles.

Wouldn't do them any good to 'lose' the originals though. Everything there has to have been transfered to multiple media formats and distributed over the years.

There were probably hours of recordings and data that were never transferred ... and probably couldn't be now anyway. Are there any operational Xerox Sigma-9s left? (and yes, I do occasionally reflect on the idea that there is more power and disk space on my desktop than was in an entire air-conditioned room in mission control.)

Now, now.
I wouldn't say they *lost* them.
They knew right where they were until the end.

Could they have left them on the soundstage where they "performed" the lunar landing?;)

Whilst I sympathise with your angst, are you aware that the BBC *delibetary* overtaped on many of the Dr. Who recordings?
