Found this site while strolling down memory lane. I Googled my real name and found it on a "215 BBS list", scanning thru that I saw a URL for this forum (as a comment). I recall the cellar being a dialup unix system, so thought it would be cool to check it out.

Reading these posts give me tingles of classic KAOS postings, not that I was a part of that scene but it always interested me.

Am I wrong assuming this place has old school modemers here?

Welcome chuck from the Rev. Wonder Toad. The reason there is a Cellar is because there was KAOS back in the eighties to show us all how social networking could work! The Cellar was co-founded by KAOS's #2 in charge and there are still a handful of us from back in the Philly modem scene days. If it has the same flavor as back in the day, that means something's working right!
