Theory 1: They all got bored.:right:
Theory 2: They all reached the end of the game, not knowing that the game was actually a tool by aliens to determine who would had the required intellectual ability and tenacity to be saved as earth enters the final phase of it's self destruction and are currently being sequestered on the dark side of the moon (Pink Floyd was right!). This will of course come as a surprise to the various religious sects who didn't realize that they had to play an online game to qualify.:D

I'm going with theory number 1 for now.
