I know that in a odd little Disney Duckville-themed illustratd mini-novel I had as a kid those criminal dog-type guys ended up on a tropical island eating breadfruit.

I think pirates eat breadfruit alot and complain about it . . . ?

Maybe they should call it "Bligh fruit" in the West Indies.
