I think you know what this is!

100% of 4 ingredients in Potato salad.http://www.cookingbynumbers.com/images/tick.gifhttp://www.cookingbynumbers.com/images/tick.gifhttp://www.cookingbynumbers.com/images/tick.gifhttp://www.cookingbynumbers.com/images/tick.gif
A light potato salad wich is wonderful for the summer.
You are missing an essential ingredient : Potatoes.

I would call this a very good idea, poorly implemented.

The recipe they suggest for a four-star potato salad is ridiculous.

How is "salad" a component ingredient?
Or "herbs and spices" - which ones?

Just for funsies, I reported I only had butter and fish. This is what it said:

40g/ 1 1/2oz. Butter
2 Flat fish. Fish

Method
method: 1. Take your flat fish and put in a grill pan.

2. Rub the skin with a knob of butter and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.

3. Grill under a medium to hot grill until the skin crisps up. The fish should now be cooked and ready to serve.

4. Serve with wedges of lemon, peas and chips.

Uh, DUH, I never said I had lemons, peas, or chips. Shall I run out and get them? Then why not just buy ingredients for a regular meal anyway?

What the hell is "Digestive Bisc't"??

Clodfobble 10-20-2006 12:49 PM

Meh. Needs beta testing. It repeatedly told me I was missing essential ingredients in recipes for which I had 100% of the ingredients.

Also, I am apparently missing the essential ingredient of Watermelon. It's a damn shame it didn't ASK me if I have any watermelon...

Stupid.

I have most of the ingredients they ask about, and my first 3 recipe suggestions were; an apple, a steak, and a fried egg. Do I really need a recipe for these culinary masterpieces?
