Web Browser Spell Checkers
I am thinking about a browser spell checker. It would be nice if the cellar had one since I am a sloppy speller. :o
I see something called IE Spell and this one. http://www.tcpiq.com/tcpIQ/WebBrowserSpellCheck/ anyone try any of these?? |
Firefox2 has a spell checker, works nicely.

The Cellar has spelling check. That little check mark with the ABC over it, above the smilies. Try it, you'll like it. :D
Even the quick reply box has it. |
Do not forget that the spell-checker will not be able to help you when it comes to grammar .

well whoda thunkit.

I don't know if this is related, but I use spellcheck.net, it's very good i think, easy fixes in there!

Yes, download the spellchecker. Once you do that, it works automatically when you click the check mark. You don't expect UT to hold it for you, do ya?
|
I don't have a check mark or and a,b,c available above my smilies.

I also don't have a check mark in either the advanced or standard toobar above my text window. About FireFox, I thought 2.0 was in beta, and when I clicked check for updates in my ver 1.5, it did not offer it as a download. I just went to the site and it has it for download, with no mention of beta. I'm going to upgrade it today. I also like to cut and paste into a word processing application for spell checking. Not to be paranoid, especially with something I am posting anyway, but I prefer to keep it inhouse. |

Switching from WYSIWYG to enhanced standard did not add the spell checker. I logged out and back in to be sure. |
I learnt how to spell as a child . And here I am casting spells .
