My Nephew's Poem
 

Here is a poem my nephew wrote - He is 10 years old and an amazingly wonderful and thoughtful young man.

Kinda short, t'ain't it?

Is this kid, like, a daoist or something?

Psh - my poem's better than that.

Boy of few words I'd say.

I, for one, am speechless.

It's blank verse for heaven's sake - it's not supposed to rhyme!

What a beautiful poem. I would actually start another paragraph with "amazingly wonderful..." but other than that it is almost perfect in its simplicity and insight.
