Wow... Looney Tunes shorts just sitting there? Here come the lawyers...

"Are you ready, eager young space cadet?"

Wow! Thanks Zip! I never thought I'd see the Skeleton Dance again.

But, where is the episode of the Pink Panther where he catches the mosquito, throws it in the river (Seine?) then feels sorry for it and goes back to get it? Some of the Pink Panther cartoons were classic.

The PP is classic , this was just a list I found and thought I would share

i have an old cartoon tape with a cartoon called "Lazytown." It's the most rascist thing you could ever see. Things were different.

I wish I had a vid camera so I could show you a peek...

Oh, just found a link about the old rascist Merrie Melodies cartoons:

Interesting stuff

Just found the one I was talking about:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrub_M..._a_Boogie_Beat

I just happened to find it on some old tape of old cartoons I bought at a garage sale; it had Porky et al on it.

I thought Coal Black was on the 50 best list ...

I like the WWII propaganda cartoons the best. Der Fuehrer's Face is still a hoot.

Oh, these are FUN!

And that red headed minx that zippyt linked has just the right attitude ;)

I love the opera ones: Elmer: "oh, Bwoonhilda! You're so wovwey!"

Bugs (as brunehilda): "Yes I know it, I can't help it..!"

I enjoyed about 2 mins of the Brianna lookalike, then the wolf hitting himself on the head stressed me out... I find pretty much all cartoon conventions grim (goes hand in glove with my Muppet problem)

Am going to save the Coal Black link for the next time someone makes a comment about "political correctness gone mad".... Dat ole black thick-lipped vibe dey cain't show no more. What a loss.

There are few cartoons that can come up to Warner Bros. at their peak. Early Ren & Stimpy does, by cranking Warner Bros pace and zaniness up a notch. The opening scenes of Roger Rabbit -- but after that the stuff that's "as good" thins out. Or else it's fun because it has a strong style all its own: Danny Phantom and Kim Possible, say. (I wanna see Senor Senior, Jr. give Ron Stoppable an Atomic Wedgie. We're already seeing the Kim porn -- now all we'd want to make our late nights complete is Kim P./She-Go slash.)
