Graphic Violence

Below are some illustrations from a purported "graphic novel" put out by the National Rifle Association. At the bottom is a link to the story. Regardless of whether it's real or not, I have to admit that the graphics are first-rate.

Gotta love that lez-bo hair stubble. This illustration was from a section entitled "Animal Rights Extremists." Lot o' hair-stubble hotties in that group!

This graphic illustrates that venerable NRA expression: "If you outlaw guns, then only outlaws will have them." And then they rampage the suburbs? I suppose. This 2nd Amendment Dad is protecting his family from the approaching outlaws. Hey. Is that Maggie L. in the house? (just kiddin).
This artist has a Bentonesque style. I really like it.

Finally, I'll end with the pic for the section "Illegal Alien Gangs."

Nah...that's not maggie. She'd be the one on the window ledge. ;) No room for hubby AND her there at the same time.

Purported is the operative word.

Hoax.

Undertoad 12-27-2006 07:26 AM

Not a hoax at all, but not a graphic novel either. It's just a stylized illustrated pamphlet, 12 pages that are mostly words.

Great looking graphics, even if the suject isn't to my taste.

And I find the hairy legs weirdly sexy...

Cool. Even propaganda is going retro.

Aliantha's so sure she knows me and what I'd do, and yet she thinks I have a husband.

My, my, my...

You keep mocking that for being "venerable". But it's "venerable" because it's *true*.

As for Hippie's off-thread mocking about tsunamis, he apparently overlooked how the New Orleans Democrat city government ran around confiscating legally owned weapons after the hurricane to ensure that only the outlaws were armed.

You know, that is a charming negress and a couple of very attractive lesbians, there.

Phil 12-27-2006 12:05 PM

another case of controlling people through fear?

Aliantha 12-27-2006 06:28 PM

It was a joke describing the participants in the text Maggie. Sorry you didn't get it. :)

I guess you just don't find me amusing. ;)

As to your marital status, well, it really doesn't concern me. Nor does what you do for a living.

"What I would do" does not refer to my profession. Subjunctive voice, etc.

Were my (female) lifepartner and I defending our home, I doubt we'd operate from the same window..and thus leave the other side of the house uncovered. Bad tactics.

Aliantha 12-27-2006 07:46 PM

lol...well there'd definitely be no hubby on the window ledge then would there?

But maybe a like-minded and helpful neighbor, forting up with them. With double the manpower, fighting power doesn't double -- more nearly squares.
