I've been listening to the Beatles Revolver album. It's the only Beatles album I have on my computer in college, unfortunately. It has been like 8 years since I seriously listened to the Beatles, and now I can fully appreciate their music. Damn, that is some good shiiiiet.

Revolver is amazing. I personally like The White Album too, but I really couldn't say which I like more.

I've been frustrated with how close minded ducky is over in the shooting thread. I mean, talk about a block head, damn! All americans roam the streets as thugs with guns, that stuff is actually pissing me off.

Relax dude. We all have fall on your sword issues. No biggie. I have quite a few friends who are not originally from the US. Many do not understand the Second Amendment and how it plays into what the US is all about. Well except for those from countries with tons of guns. :D

I like The White Album far better than Revolver, which is supposed to be the "best" Beatles album, but you're right. There's a reason the Beatles are so famous. Besides the original cute haircuts (which were very scandalous for the time).

When I was a kid my dad was a HS principal in the 60's, he use to send kids home from school because they had long hair. Later he said he never wanted to do it but the school board made him. After a while he defied the SB and let them stay in school. The Beatles were just hitting the scene, along with aaaaaaaaaemmmmm, a few other things. An interesting time. I still love their music.

I just learned how to play euchre.

freshnesschronic 04-27-2007 11:31 PM

Dude, Eucher (sp?) is freaking so fun. I learned how to play it two summers ago and was hooked. Unfortunately none of my friends know how to play it and don't want to learn how :(
Probably funnest card game I've played, surpassing poker. But then again, I suck at poker.

Hmmm. It's a useful game to know around here (Midwest) apparently -the lifeguards at the pool play it all the time- but it seems a bit like baby bridge. I only just learned a couple of hours ago, so I don't have the tactics down pat. I know how to play pretty much every card game commonly played in the UK (that would exclude Euchre and Peanuckle (?sp) ) and I guess I just don't think it's any better. I don't see the point of the jacks thing, but then I just taught my daughter Cribbage and we've had a blast playing it and that has to be the most messed up game ever.
