Subway systems of the world, presented on the same scale.

They all look like natual systems, like waterways, except Beijing which is very Borg-like.

US cities have sucky subway systems.

Beijing's is the worst. Nobody rides it; it never grew because it had no need to.

Put NYC in there and it'd change the mix.

Yeah and Chicago.

DC's is great, if you want to go where it takes you.

If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with.


In other words, choose both lodging and work that are located on a subway line. There are a lot of places to live out there, and a lot of jobs too.

I live near a stop on the red line. My job isn't near a stop, so I drive, but if I have to go anywhere downtown, the subway is great.

The Philadelphia map is missing stuff--in addition to the subway, there's also regional rail and trolley lines.

The London Map looks uncannily like....
