Holy Christ I hate the Wiggles
I am so, so, SO glad that Minifob has completely shunned them in favor of these guys:
And one more, for good measure (this one's his favorite): It is such a relief to have kids' entertainment that doesn't make me want to cut my own spleen out. |
The wiggles shit me too, with all their hot potatoing and cold spaghetti-ing. FREAKS!!
Boo-bah, is much worse, but their subliminal programming is very effective. My kids totally zone out for their entire show....I dont think they even blink. |
my kids never really bothered with the wiggles. They did really love the teletubbies though which was almost as annoying with their 'uh-oh'ing all the time.
|
now, now, wouldn't Holy Christ tell you not to hate?
Barney was worse. |
That's better than the Wiggles? Makes me glad I missed them all. :D
My kids were Teletubbies then Thomas the Tank Engine kids. I used to live near where teletubbies was filmed. |
My son has been into all the action heroes...when he was little, it was Backyardigans...which he called "Back yard against" Took me a while to figure out what he meant.
|
If I have kids, I'm not letting them have access to TV or those dippy "educational" (or whatever they label them as) videos.

What happened to kids shows?
I mean, when I was a kid, nickelodeon and such had so many good shows... that i still like today. they had shows that were stupid and funny and silly and random enough for kids to love, but also witty and smart and different enough for adults to love. Pete&Pete, Kablam, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren&Stimpy, Ahh Real Monsters, salute your shorts, Alex Mack, Clarissa Explains It All... even rugrats was so much better then! What happened in the past decade or so? |
I've heard of two of those.
|
Ren & Stimpy and Rugrats?
Same here. |
