Infant Pillow

I thought this was a pretty good idea. Basically it's a pillow shaped like a hand that the mother keeps with her for a while to get her scent on, then puts them on the infant to give it a secure feeling all the time.

Huh. I was going to buy one for a friend who just had a preemie . . . but you have to buy two, and at $39 bucks each, that's just too much.

you can achieve that "secure feeling" with swaddling, a much cheaper alternative.

Might be good for adults too.

So at what point do you allow your baby to become it's own person? Over-protective mollycoddling IMO. Commercial enterprises manipulating the insecurities of new parents.

What's the odds that baby grows up to become a big fan of RealDolls?
