The myth of the kissing booth
Has anyone ever seen a kissing booth first hand? You know these booths where you would pay 50 cents and get to kiss some cute girl or guy. I've seen or heard pop references to them and have a vague notion that it was a 50's thing. Did they really exists? I call b.s.
I know you dwellars will know. Google isn't helping much. |
They're called whore houses

There are fetish events where these booths still happen. :)
There is even a booth for feeling with gloves. These, to the best of my knowledge, are all free aside from event admission. Yea...kind of like a whorehouse but not. |

One of the many kissing booth fundraisers....burlesque and alt. shows in your area probably have the kissing booth. (Denver definitely does) http://www.westword.com/2004-11-11/n...bada-boom/full |
I'm more curious about the kissing booths that allegedly existed in family friendly venues like county fairs back in the day. I know there is every kind of fetish you can think of out there somewhere today, but this was apparently a more mainstream thing. I'd like to know how widespread they were, and how they were viewed at the time.
