Whaling Protestors go too far
While I don't think Japanese whaling ships should be allowed to operate in Australian waters (and perhaps not even international waters), I don't think throwing acid on board the ship is going to help matters.

Save the Whales- Kill some people...that's my motto....
;( Reminds me of PETA....peta-nuts.... |
This will end in people's lives being lost this year I think. It's really escallating beyond control.
A legacy of Steve Irwin of course and his Wildlife Warriors. Here's what Wiki has to say about it/them: Quote:

More info about Sea Shepherd and what they're up to this summer.

And here's more info about the Irwin family's involvement. Quote:

Fuck those whaler fucks....throw more acid!!
The whalers dont abide by the law, so let Sea Shephard do what they will. My only negative...if the shephard's are going to use these methods to make their point...they best not bitch and expect the government to step in and help out when they get caught again. |

So it stings their murderous eyes a bit. Boo freaking hoo. |
Yeah Shawnee I was just thinking that. 'Injured' in this case obviously means they had a bad case of stung eyes....maybe a little like having tear gas. Not pleasant but hardly that dangerous.
Having said that I am appalled at their policy of sinking ships. |

:eyebrow: ...I have nothing to say to this... :D |
If I was the captain on those whaling ships I would sink those fuckers if they got in the way. Esp Sea Sheaperd, there actions endanger people, I would draw the line and drop an exploding harpoon below the water line everytime they showed up. Piracy on the sea.

lol...I love it!
There actions over their are they're own. |

And also the fact that they're putting not just their own lives at risk, but other people just trying to do their jobs. And also the fact that their policy of sinking ships is simply wrong in my opinion. What happens when they decide they're not getting anywhere and decide to sink another whaling ship, only this time it's a Japanese ship? I wonder. Protest away. I don't think they should be killing the whales either, but violent protesting always ends in tears and often death. Environmental terrorism. |
I don't believe in what the Shepherd's doing, so I intend to charter a huge great yacht and mount some cannons on the front to intervene.
