virginia political scandal

In a surprising announcement yesterday Jerry Kilgore the republican Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia called for the resignation of House Speaker Vance Wilkins for his action in regard to the latest scandal that has shaken the historic halls of the Virginia legislator. This announcement comes only one day top GOP officials met to discuss the allegations of an out of court settlement paid by Wilkins, of $100,000 to a women that alleges Wilkins sexually harassed her.

Wilkins is expected to make an announcement next week about his future in the legislator.

He sure is quite the shady character... a watergate-esque wiretapping scandal, and now a cover-up into alleged sexual harassment... what more can you ask for?

Will it really matter in the long run?
