Thanks Bullitt
I just wanted to thank Bullitt and all the other wildland fire fighters.
3 Killed Fighting Wildfires Across State I know it's a tough job, and dangerous. |
thanks Bullitt
It is a tough job. |
Yes Bullitt, I echo HLJ's sentiment. Bravo, brave man!

My gratitudes to the Bullit as well.

Thanks everybody, it's nice to have recognition for what you do.. shame about those three killed down there.. :( They say it's going to be a rough season.. especially down south/southwest.
We've been doing some controlled burns up here. Wildfire prevention kind of stuff. (This is the company I work for.) Here's a few pics from that: http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...n/IMG_0007.jpg One of our two type VI wildland engines. They're based on an F-550. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...n/IMG_0005.jpg My rig complete with 30 gallon water tank and pump, drip torch, and my trusty shovel http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...n/IMG_0009.jpg To give you a sense of scale, you can see the type VI engine on the far right side if you look close. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...n/IMG_0010.jpg One of the draws afterwards.. Nuked it!! http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...n/IMG_0012.jpg |
