July 15, 2008: Manikins
Medical manikins, actually.
Manikins (mannequin, is usually used for department store dummies) are used for medical training. http://cellar.org/2008/manikin1.jpg There is a butload of different medical manikins to train people on, since the variation in people is so great. They make manikins that represent geriatrics, children, the obese, various traumas, and for specific procedures. Even for cats and dogs. ;) http://cellar.org/2008/manikin2.jpg More of 'em. |
Manikin
So if the 3rd picture is for a cat manikin is the first one for a robo-cop manikin?
|
What are they doing to that cat? Neutering him the hard way?
|
Wow.
When that baby girl grows up she's going to be popular. |
Youre evil, Sundae!

Well, it looks like I anticipated today's IoTD.NSFW[breaks arm patting self on back, requires attention from doctor trained on smart-ass-osteo-nikin]
|
No wonder this robot was such a big deal then, the manikins are kind of scary...
|
So... Why does the geriatric maniki have... two penises?
|
