Christian the Lion
These two guys adopted a baby lion, and when it got too big they had to release it in africa.
After a year they went to see if they could find him and if he would recognize that it was them. He comes running down the hill, and gives them a big hug. the lion was a father of a baby lion and introduced them all to his lioness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adYbFQFXG0U&NR=1 |
..and just as expected, he ate those fuggin guys. Typical cat.

"Christian the Lion"??
(a) sounds like a fancy way of saying "feed the cat". (b) seriously, what kind of sicko would name a lion "Christian"? Unless it's second name was "Eater". Suppose the poor thing had wound up in the coliseum, what would it do? Eat itself? |
Great piece - wonderful watch!
Ya negative nellies should be ashamed of yourselves. :stickpoke: |
:) Hey. That's cute. A terrible risk, but cute.

OK the video has persuaded me, I'm getting a lion! PM me if you wanna pet it...
Edit: That last sentence sounds dirty in all kinds of ways  |
Sure, I'll pet your pus..er, lion.

I saw this on the morning show....at first I was all awwwww....then I realised that a totally wild lioness is not gonna walk straight up to a human like that...no hesitation at all and let him pet her...whether her hubbie told her to or not.

Do you think Christian told his pride about his estate in England, complete with human servants? Is that how he got those chicks to join his harem? Maybe he scared off the other males with threats of bagpipe concerts?
Seriously though, it's easy to believe that Christian would remember them, but any other lion, without prior human contact. would at least be wary, if not hostile. That makes me wonder, who's the old guy with the stick? Maybe these lions are "wild", but in a reserve/sanctuary/park, where they do have some human contact? That would make a lot more sense, but I'm theorizing. |
