Have a Cookie

where do the cookies come from?

here's an email I got that reminded me of them:

The following is the 2007 winning entry from an annual contest at Texas A&M
University calling for the most
appropriate definition of a contemporary term. This year a definition is
required for the contemporary term,
'Political Correctness'.

The winner wrote:
Quote:

"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical
minority, and rabidly promoted by an
unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is
entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Magic elves who live in trees bake them.

Didn't your parents explain all this to you???

I hate when you're just getting ready to click somewhere and you see a few words from a bottom cookie that looks interesting but...too late...you've already clicked past it.

Someone left the cookie in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
' cause it took so long to bake it
And I"ll never have that recipe againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Ohhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooooooo.

If you click the back button, the same one should still be there. It is for me, anyway.

Well poo...I made a bad assumption that it would not be.

I really need to pay more attention to the cookies; there are some doozies out there.

The cookies are a combination of many sources of short pithy quotes. Several fortune files and private collections were merged. Also it was form to say "cookie!" on the Cellar mk 2 whenever somebody said something cookie-like. There are 2508 cookies.

Due to this thread, I have improved on my original cookie code (it's faster now! But not perceptibly so) and will gladly accept new cookies (James, your cookie is #2509).

The difference between cake and cookie is that you can eat your cookie and have it too.
