Have You Checked Your Blinker Fluid

Ok, when was the last time you checked the blinker fluid in your car? Your blinkers provide an important safety feature and it is surprising how many folks don't check theirs. Here's a link giving detailed instructions on how to check your fluid level & change it if necessary.

Big Sarge, thanks for the reminder. The other important thing people overlook is changing the air in their tires. Air is the only thing holding up your car (or bike) and it loses springyness after a few thousand miles.

Anyone know where I can get some 710 fluid?

Undertoad 08-07-2008 07:34 PM

I was going to last week, but I didn't have the left-handed wrench necessary to get the reservoir tank cap off.

Remember, you'll need the right handed wrench to get the cap back on.

That reminds me, the other day I was working on a carpentry job. I cut a piece three times, and it was still too short. Does anyone know where I can get a cheap board stretcher? I've tried craigs list to no avail.

Big Sarge, your XO called, he needs you to return the keys to the drop zone. They can't turn the range fans on with out them.

whaddya mean? They recommend changing that every time I bring my car in . . .

I'm sure it's full of it.

I don't have a board stretcher, but I'll send you my electric hammer.
Makes those jobs easy.

My blinkers used to go on and off too rapidly. It was really annoying; so, I added a teaspoonful of brake fluid to the blinker fluid and now they work just fine.

Do they also sell elbow grease? Any job done without that is only a job half-done.

Undertoad 08-08-2008 08:42 AM

Of course!

SteveDallas 08-08-2008 11:13 AM

joe, I can't believe you posted for a board stretcher on craigslist and didn't get any replies. I'd have thought that would attract a lot of attention.
