The time to ask that question was back after 2001 when George Jr was pushing tax cuts as the miracle cure. Back then, the wacko extremists were pushing the Kennedy tax cut as an example. Those who remember history will also remember the many posts here that warned what happened after the Kennedy tax cut - an economic downturn.

But George Jr supporters back then ignored that lesson from history. Economic stimulus - ie tax cuts - result in short term economic upturned followed by economics taking revenge. Economics is now taking revenge for massive corporate welfare and other economic stimulus - and the bill yet to be paid for from "Mission Accomplished".

Amazing how the George Jr supporters now forget the myths they were promoting in 2001 such as the Kennedy tax cuts while ignoring the later economic downturn from those tax cuts.
