Senior Portrait

I need to pick which picture to use as my senior portrait in the yearbook sometime in the next... 20 hours or so, more like 7 if i want to get it done not-at-the-last-second... so, um, let me know what you guys think of these four. which do you like best?

Hm. The last one is the only one that is both in focus and doesn't have the odd orange carpet/pad thing. So that one.

I agree.

limey 11-30-2008 06:38 AM

Me too, tho' I like the expression in no 3.

monster 11-30-2008 07:32 AM

i agree, but to be honest I don't think any of them are particularly good for that purpose. Is the poor focus deliberate? can you not get someone else to take one this once?

ZenGum 11-30-2008 08:17 AM

They're all damn handsome. I'm jealous.

I also wonder, how goddamn many suits do you have, Ibram?

classicman 11-30-2008 09:45 AM

The lst one is by far the best of a great group of pics - IMO. You are certainly a photogenic young man, I'll give ya that!

Clodfobble 11-30-2008 10:18 AM

The last one, absolutely.

richlevy 11-30-2008 10:23 AM

Yep, the last one. Is that the same suit and tie in all of the pictures? If so, then someone did some major color adjustment. What color is the suit in normal light?

LabRat 11-30-2008 10:28 AM

nukemerro four.

senior pictures already? damn time flies.

Number three:

dig the orange. dig the look. It gives a hint to the inside, more than a pretty face.

Elspode 11-30-2008 01:27 PM

The last one for the reasons previously stated.

wolf 11-30-2008 01:31 PM

None of the above. Senior portraits are supposed to be portraits ... posed full on face shots with your head tilted to a slightly unnatural position.

Juniper 11-30-2008 03:20 PM

If I had to choose one of these, I'd say #4. But why is your photographer on a ladder? Can't he take one while standing on the ground? Or maybe he's just realllly tall?

As others have said, I don't think any of these is a good senior portrait for yearbook purposes. Save the "artistic" shots for other venues.

Cloud 11-30-2008 03:41 PM

the first one. I like your expression, and the soft focus background is nice

p.s. --where are the pearls?
