8/2/2002: Water buffalo
http://cellar.org/2002/waterbuff.jpg
Happy Friday! MSNBC gives us this one (last week). This big ol' water buffalo is in Jammu, India, where the temperatures can reach 122 degrees F. And it's the middle monsoon season when they get 80% of their rain, so it must be kinda humid. Yeah, I think under those conditions, I would jump in the algae-filled water and I would even let a bird sit on my head. As we reach 95 degrees on the US east coast, the indoor temperature here is expected to reach 76 degrees. Air conditioning: the best invention ever. |

Everybody's got a water buffalo,
yours is fast but mine is slow. Oh where'd we get them? I don't know, but everybody's got a water buffalo-ooooooooo. |
Well juju, at least you're being constructive. ;)

Hehe.

You guys ever been to the Carrier shrine in Syracuse? I'm gonna talk to the Pope about sainthood. I only have ac in the vehicles though, just can't see it in the house, when its only necessary a few times a year. Hmm.. pond improvement is on my list though.

Rickey walks into his apartment full of buffalo, "juju you got some esplainin' to do."
|
How would I explain that one to Rho?
"Well hon, you DID say I could have a pony, so I just upped it a bit and got a water buffalo instead. We can keep him out in back and he can roam out on the grass all day. We can use it to give rides to the kids in the complex and neighborhood. We'll be rich in a few weeks. And we can hide him in the creek if the Health Dept. or L&I shows up." |
