VA clinic warns of possible contaminant exposure
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Thousands of patients at a Veterans Administration clinic in Tennessee may have been exposed to the infectious body fluids of other patients when they had colonoscopies in recent years, and now VA medical facilities all over the U.S. are reviewing their own procedures. I'm guessing they used the same test gear on both ends! Yuk. |
The VA sticks it up your ass, that's nothing new... as you well know. :(

During a 2.5 month stay at the VAMC Tomah Wi. I picked up another skin disease, the VA is nasty but getting better.
|
Big VA hospitals are not much better than any other big huge hospital. The problems are the same, so is the frequency of infection. It just so happens that because they are government run you get to find out about all the bad stuff. Profit hospitals don't have to tell you their problems.

True, that.

I've never done a clone thread yet, but I am suddenly feeling the urge... just can't seem to think of one.
VB (Victoria Bitter) Clinics? For the seriously drunk? VC (Victoria Cross) Clinics? For the seriously valorous? Nope, I'm out of ideas. Seriously, sterilise the damn colonoscope between patients. I would have thought that was obvious. What's the difference between an oral thermometer and a rectal thermometer? |
How about Vet Clinics, for animals.
