Anybody else playing April Fools jokes today?

I've been going up to people at work at letting them know that I've given my 2 weeks notice. :-)
The responses have been gratifying. hehehe

You don't need to be creative. will do.

Nah... I work alone, my kids are too little to trick, and I don't really feel like orchestrating something to fool my friends.

I just got email from darlet #1 who is in Mexico on a school sponsored trip for advanced Spanish classes.

Apparently his parents called school and someone from school called here to talk with the teachers. So he's in big trouble, but no one is in danger.

:headshake What a maroon.

Oh man. Bad idea, kid.

Yeah, I pulled a joke on the wife. It was an elaborate joke involving money (or the lack thereof). She hung up on me. Maybe it worked too well. :smack:

I love Google's CADIE joke... those guys are twisted!

Last night the crew chief from our ambulance called in to say that his wife was being induced today.

After thinking it over carefully we all decided that he was probably telling the truth as he really doesn't have enough of a personality to engage in April Fooling.

Also, his wife who is one of my dept heads is a high risk pregnancy, and they're probably going in even if she is about a month away from her due date.

I love how responsible and considerate darlet#1 is. Emailing you to make sure you aren't worried. What a sweetie.

Thanks, Dana. Yup, she's a keeper.
