It still has the same problems of weather, dirt, and safety, that a Segway or bike has.

I'd only use it for short trips, like shopping. But this way I can sit down. The regular segways make you stand. Might as well walk.

They had these on the news this morning. There doesn't look to be enough room to store the groceries I usually get at the store.

Do they have to be registered for road use? Do you have to have a license to 'drive' one? And most importantly, is there a spot for the baby capsule?

PUMA = Poofter Under Medical Attention.

And looks who wants one ... :rotflol:

(Sheldon, my apologies if the P word seems derogatory ... no offense intended).

So it's a sit-down segway. If that was all there was, they might be good, but I wouldn't be on a street full of SUVs and kamikaze cabbies in one of those.

If you could get it up to 80mph it might be cool.

I saw this on the news yesterday.

Most ridiculous looking thing I've ever seen.

Hmmm.

Reminds me of the humans in their hoverchairs in WALL-E, just without the ship.

Shouldn't that be "Up"?

Not when he's parked. That's when he puts it in drive. ;)

What exactly makes this more preferable than a golf cart? :eyebrow:
