I wanna come just to see that big fluffy Oreo!

Sleeping in tomorrow, doing a bunch of nothing, then spending the day with my Princess Sunday. Brunch, bike ride, nap, dinner.

Tonight, taking daughter to GS camp.
Tomorrow, probably taking son and a friend to Kings Island.
Sunday, church, pick up daughter, yard work, and homework.
Blah. :)

Ooh lovely, Limey.
My parents are going to the Point to Point tomorrow.
They invited me along, but they're actually working (recruiting for Homesitters) so I'd be wandering around for four hours on my own. Point to point is only really good fun with friends, booze, money in your pocket (all or separately!)

So tomorrow I'll be going to the pharmacy to get my prescription filled, then going on to the Post Office.
And Sunday I'll be lazing around here.

Not very exciting.
I might make some cornbread.
Only trouble is, then I'll want to eat it.

DanaC 05-08-2009 04:02 PM

Tonight: nothing. Not a thing. Just chilling. Have just popped a bag of corn in the micro and am munching happily. Gonna make a cup of tea next. I may, very shortly, go run a hot bath and then when I am done, I might listen to an audioplay in bed ;) Ahh wild weekends

Tomorrow, mainly reading about the Factory Reform Movement of the early nineteenth centuyr and the dvelopment of the 'breadwinner ideal'.

Sunday, again, mainly reading, probably about factory reform (for essay), but might also do a little reading around Chartism and militant domesticity (for revision)

Clodfobble 05-08-2009 04:18 PM

Tonight, dinner with some friends who are making a valiant effort to cook a meal that Minifob can eat. I have warned them that he probably will not eat it anyway, but he will have fun being around their son (they do well together because he has some developmental problems of his own and his favorite game is... lining up toy cars!)

Saturday - nothing that I can think of. Definitely a trip to the grocery store at some point.

Sunday - yeah, ah, still nothing that I can think of. I'd love to say "sleep in" or some such thing, but it isn't realistically going to happen. Might get Mr. Clod to do some house projects as my Mother's Day request.

Trilby 05-08-2009 04:35 PM

Tonight - nothing. Read, TV...usual.

Tomorrow - get my sister over to help with the flowers, etc. Also, plan what to do for our mother for Sunday.

Sunday - Mother's Day stuff. Cake, coffee, cards, little pressies. Nothing big. Read Shakespeare, Measure for Measure. Loll around a lot. I'm good at Lolling.

Boating with the son just home from first year in college. We are off to one of a few off shore islands that have beaches that you can only get to by boat. He will probably bring a few friends. Wife and I will sit on the beach and cook sausages for the kids and knock back a few cold beers and water. Weather shows an outlook of temps in the 90's and calm winds.

Sunday, we will do what ever the CFO wants to do. Mother's Day don't cha know.

Alluvial 05-08-2009 06:58 PM

Right now I'm having a bit of a snack; later I'll cook for the family. Tomorrow I'm going to go to aqua pilates, then do some weight training. I hope to catch up on some work Saturday afternoon. Sunday is grocery day.

That reminds me, I should tell my kids that Sunday is Mothers' Day. Hmm.

Friday -- son's baseball game. (7-3 win, he had a good looking double to left field and a throw from 3rd to 1st to get a batter out.) Daughter was at her 8th grade farewell dance. Now: putting together shopping list for Home Despot. Alcohol consumption.

Saturday -- mow lawn. Another baseball game at 11:30AM. Head to Home Despot for miscellaneous tools & supplies to start patching walls in the dining room and putting down quartter-round molding, and then start doing it. Evening: Go to big carnival sponsored by a local church.

Sunday: Play handbells at 2 church services. (Hopefully) finish dining room. Rewire chandelier, or at least figure out what needs to be rewired. Install phone jack in living room. Possibly help out w/ stripping wallpaper in kitchen (already in progress while I'm doing the dining room). Tell Mrs. Dallas at least twice that I really, truly, don't care what color scheme we choose to paint with. 8:15PM: daughter's softball game.

Apollo 05-08-2009 09:44 PM

Friday: Bask in the awesomeness of last day of school.
Saturday: Sleep in until 2:00. Find a decent grill to buy for the new house.
Sunday: Eat a huge breakfast at a place called the "Sassy Onion". Work on HTML and CSS stuff. Play video games until two in the morning.

I love summer :D
